Wicklow campaign to Save Loughlinstown A&E Services sign now

We the undersigned strongly oppose the downgrading of the 24hour A&E service in St.Columcilles Hospital, Loughlinstown. This service is critical to the people of Wicklow and last year alone over 21,000 people were treated in it. We call on Minister for Health James Reilly to immediately intervene and stop any attempts to close this critical A&E service.

I hope Loughlinstown A&E will be allowed to stay open, St: Vincents is just that bit too far for the likes of the south Wicklow area, also it gets very full at times, what is it going to be if the A&E at Loughlinstown is closed altogether..

How can you honestly even consider closing such a vital service? If you close it the nearest will be St. Vincents and then what hope do a lot of people have. My mother has a heart condition and the difference in travel time between Loughlinstown and Vince

For the health of the community and the well-being of those in need who cannot and should not be forced onto larger waiting lists and unsanitary A&E's of Dublin hospitals. Fair play, right to healthcare and accessing our tax rights is the only way.
