Wheeler High School's Superb Teachers sign now

Addressing Cobb County School Board:

It has come to our attention that some of the absolute best teachers have been fired from Wheeler High School. We feel that this is unfair and unjust; these teachers have had a vast impact on every child's life they have come in contact with and to lose them would be a great detriment to the quality of education provided at Wheeler High School. We sign this for the Justice of Ms. Jennifer Hager, Mr. David Platt, and Mrs. Cathy Banks, Coach David McDonald, Mr. Dave Slater, Mr. Frank Pruet, Mrs. Cynthia Stewart, Mrs. Sharon Condon, Ms. Kimberly Battle, Mrs. Jeannie Kane, Mrs. Colleen Casey, Mr. Orren Williams, Ms. Joyce Taaffe, and all other teachers Wheeler needs to keep.

Why are you cutting the good teachers? If you're going to cut teachers at least pick the bad ones.

These teachers bring across a passion and a love for their subject that is contagious. It is their spirit that truly makes the school an educational institution. We can't afford not to speak out. No one will do it for us.
