The Florida House and Senate are voting to drastically cut funding for services provided for Tier One behavioral service for the coming fiscal year by capping reimbursement to those facilities providing these services.

These facilities will be unable to continue to operate in a manner that will properly care for and keep their "clients" safe.

These facilities will have to discharge their clients by July 1, 2010 due to the lack of funding.

We the undersigned request that the Florida House and Senate not cut or cap funding to support Tier One programs that are so beneficial to the individuals who need them as well as the community

I cannot believe that this is even a thought! Our children desperately need these services & will suffer tremendously without them. Isn't lottery money being used to fund education or is it?

I myself have no children but know someone who would be adversly affected by this cut. There has to be another solution and if you cant come up with one maybe you shouldnt be running our state government

Please don't cut funding for these people with disabilities. If you do this that means your heartless. And you don't care about others.
