Ticketmaster Auction...not fair. sign now

Going once, going twice, sold to the highest bidder! Thats right, ticketmaster starting later in this year will be AUCTIONING off the best tickets to the shows they are in control of. IT SHOULD BE ABOUT THE MUSIC AND THE FANS, not the money. Most average fans CANNOT afford to pay hundreds of dollars to see their favorite artists in some decent seats! Please sign this petition in order to let ticketmaster know the MUSIC FANS ARE COMPLETLEY AGAISNT THIS!

I was under the impression that scalping tickets was illegal in most states! This is an outrageous proposal, and ya'll should be ashamed of your GREEDY selves!!!!!!!!!

This is ticket scalping. Why are they so quick to screw the customer? And they can't understand why people want to get things on the internet for free? They hate it when they don't get a piece of the pie. They want to put their hands down our shirts an

We work hard for our money and should be able to get the best tickets available and not have to spend hundreds.

BOOTLEGING IS BAD ENOUGH. LETS KEEP IT FAIR FOR THE FANS THAT ARE NOT VERY WELTHY.
  • 10 September 201065. Tammy
This is theft of the worst kind. I hope the artists have a say so in this, because I know my favorite artists will not participate.
  • 10 September 201064. Mary
Leave the fan's and ticket prices ALONE!
  • 10 September 201063. DUNNNUT
GIVE US A BREAK ITS THE FANS THAT MAKE THEM . WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR THE TICKETS. ITS NOT RIGHT
  • 10 September 201062. JoAnn
Without the fans there is no need for concerts. You jack up the prices to high and the fan will stoping going to concerts
  • 09 September 201061. Jason
This is an absolute joke....get rid of the brokers if you don't want the tickets going for so high
  • 09 September 201060. Patty
Ticket prices are high enough as it is!!! The GOOD FANS.....deserve the BEST SEATS......NOT the richest fans!!! It appears that Ticketmaster is just trying to increase it's bottom line by becoming a defacto 'ticket broker'.

    I am against this practice.

    Really not fair

You people make enough money with your service charges & convenience fees. For example, an Eddie Money & Southside Johnny ticket was 8.75, andyour fees were 6.35- Isn't that a little gredy?

I think it is unfair to the fans, some can't afford(ME INCLUDED) to spend hundres of dollars to see their favorite musician.
  • 08 September 201055. Scott
I can barely afford to attend events, now you will make it immpossible for me to get a decent even!!This is way wrong!!!

Concert tickets are to expensive as it is--this move is totally unfair to the average fans. I think you're going to eventually overprice yourselves out of business!!
  • 07 September 201052. Catherine
If Ticketmaster goes through with this I will not buy any tickets through them.... Concert, Sports, plays, nothing!
  • 07 September 201051. Amy
This isn't the auction, tickets need to be set at a fair price so it doesn't become all high class people at these concerts, the middle class and lower class like to see real music too (and not from a tv a mile from the stage.)
  • 07 September 201050. Rae
The biggest fans don't always have the biggest paycheck so let's keep ticket prices reasonable!!
  • 07 September 201049. Mona
Try to remember that the fans are the one's buying the tickets.....if you make them too expensive, for seats that you can only watch the viewing monitor, we won't be buying tickets thru ticketmaster anymore, which not only hurts ticketmaster income, but t

The auctioning off of tickets makes no sense and is utterly ridiculous. I, myself, am a college student and I would not be able to compete for decent seats to the concerts of my favorite artists. Tickets should be distributed on a first come, first serv

I am against this. I can't afford to pay hundreds of dollars to see my favorite artist and you a taking away any chance of me getting a good seat if you do this.
  • 07 September 201046. Heather
Why am I against the auctioning of tickets? It's just simply wrong to the fans and the artist!
