Temple University Television Broadcasting Station sign now

We at the RGB Media Collective of Temple University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, believe that all students have a right to exercise their freedom of speech through all mediums possible. We believe that Temple's School of Communications, regarded as one of the best in the country, should own a practical medium for students to exhibit and gain experience from broadcasting their work. We believe that the creation of a student organized, Temple Television Broadcasting Station, would benefit, not only students with real-life experience, but also in helping to promote the University with displaying the innovative and interesting things that are done there, ultimately benefitting all parties involved.
A Television Broadcasting station was once owned by Temple, until it was shutdown in 1995. What we ask is not unheard of, only that what we once had becomes re-instated. Freedom of speech is a constitutionally given right, and what we ask for is nothing more then a medium to facilitate that expression. More specifically, the above mentioned Broadcasting Station.
The Undersigned of this Petition acknowledges and agrees that our wish for such a medium is an important and just one. The Undersigned hereby fully supports the RGB Media Collective in its endeavors, and asks Temple University to create a Television Broadcasting station to better the education of students and facilitate the constitutionally given rights of all those involved.

How do you expect us to excel if we don't have a forum on which to display our artistic and production talents. This will really give us more reign over projects we want to produce, give us a greater reason to produce better projects, and give us a real vi

I think it's a shame we go to a school known for its communications department and we do not have a station to broadcast on. I understand money is probably the limitation here, however, how can the school morally send a student to work who has not experie
