STOP WCPR Soccer Fields sign now

As many of you know we live in Nolensville on McCanless Road. We have lived here less than a year and have recently found out that there is a proposal to sell the land adjacent to our land to the Williamson County Park and Recreation Department to develop into soccer fields. Please do not be fooled into thinking this would be a great idea. There have been several fatal accidents at the intersection of McCanless Rd and Nolensville Rd. Not to mention there will be an increase in traffic due to the new subdivision across from Old Horton Hwy and Nolensville Rd. Nolensville has grown enough. Adding these soccer fields in this location is dangerous to those attending the fields but more so to the neighbors that have to live near this. These roads are not designed for this traffic and will cause serious harm to those that live around the neighboring area. Please sign this petition to protect the land and prevent any more unnecessary traffic to Nolensville Road.

The intersection of McCannless and Nolensville Road has been the subject of several accidents that I am personally aware of over the years. The steep descent of the hill as you head north seems to give people reason to speed. I would hate to see an ab

I am quite concerned about putting more traffic on roads that weren't built for their current traffic demands.

I agree with Amy. Enough growth in Williamson County. It needs to STOP NOW!

That highway is busy enough. It doesn't need extra traffic.

I may live in france now but I know how unsafe putting soccer fields in a community can destroy the safety and integrity of the environment...as well as the safety and integrity of our children.

Land proposal should make consideration of traffic access and geographical location. College Grove currently has no soccer or Football fields.

I am not opposed to soccer fields in general, just soccer fields at this location. Find a safer, less residential area to build the fields.
