Stand againsts EFLOW fines sign now

As a tax paying, law abiding citizen of Ireland who has recently stood by and watched this country and its government punish the hard working and less well off Citizens of the state, I find it even more disconcerting that our once government owned asset, namely the M50 toll system is now run by a greedy set of individuals who deem it well within their powers to impose fines which are completely beyond the ability of most to pay.
Currently, to go through a toll operated under the automated system, one will have to pay 3 euro for this passage (One way). If this toll is not paid within 24 hours, the payment increases to 6 euro. Should you be so unfortunate as to forget or not be able to pay this within 15 days, this fine will then be 39.50 euro, proceeding then to 149 euro which is then followed by court action.
So to put this in perspective ,for what is simply passing through a road, in addition to paying car tax yearly, you will have to pay 3 Euros for this passage, this will accrue an interest rate of 200\% in 24 hours, and within a further 15 days an interest rate of 1315\%!! by the time this reaches a court, within 2 - 3 months the interest rate will be at an outrageous 4900\%.
I for one will not stand by and watch EFLOW charge these outrageous fines anymore.
People will say that in this instance you should not pass through where you need to make a journey and that if you cannot pay the toll, you must suffer the consequence, however this is not what is in question, what is being opposed here is the absolutely disgusting accrual of money owed in a very short space of time. Whilst in a recession, I cannot understand how this is not being regulated and I will not stand by any longer and watch as a company charges 4900\% interest on passage of what should be a right for us all here in Ireland.
No bank or other financial institution despite their hand in the recent crisis would be so bold as to even consider charging interest rates like these, neither does any other service in Ireland, why are EFLOW being allowed to get away with these charges. To further this, by failure to pay these fines and letting this go to court, you could face a black mark against your name which could hinder your ability to gain approval for any type of finance or Loan from any financial institution, and all of this for an unpaid 3 euro toll passage for a road which should really belong to the country, not a greedy company.

Please join me in making a stand against this company and putting your signature against what can only be described as a complete abuse of monopoly and power.

By signing you agree that EFLOW fines per journey are ludicrously over priced, too short in incrementing and beyond the ability of most to pay.
