St Austell Oxfam sign now

A lot of people feel strongly about our dedicated Oxfam charity bookshop in St Austell. Oxfam have decided, without consultation, that it is no longer economically viable.

It is outrageous that Oxfam will not consider renegotiating the rent with the landlord, to try and alleviate some of the running costs. Nor do they seem willing to recognise that the shop continues to make a profit, during a recession, and in an economically suppressed area.

Please add your voice and your friends to a campaign to see if the decision to close can be reversed. Please sign this petition so that we show Oxfam how much we care about our shop within our community.
