Sportsman Park Football Feild sign now

Hello fellow citizens,
My name is Freddie D'Amico. Ive been a resident of Port St. Lucie since 1977. Everyone who knows me , knows that I like to stay active and love to run. I recently have been running in competitive 5k's.
Ive been running sprints at Sportsman's Park Mc Corkile field since 2000. today i was told I could not run on the field until march due to downtime. This is the first time Ive ever heard of this. So my workout was cut short. But this doesn't only involve me. There were about 20 to 25 kids ranging between 12-17 trying to play football on they're day off from school. " Kids trying to do something constructive and not destructive" imagine that. They too were told to leave. I'm writing this petition for the simple fact why have a football feild that no one can use half the year. Nevermind me look how many kids it took off the street. So please City of Port Saint Lucie take consideration of this letter
