Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards - Rapid downfall sign now

We, the loyal customers of Southwest Airlines, feel that Southwest Airlines have been poorly handling the customers problems and concerns during a time of transition. Southwest Airlines implemented Rapid Rewards 2.0, and in the transition process, have caused us to miss opportunities to use the rewards we earned. Some customers are unable to log into their accounts, book flights, and/or view important information regarding their accounts.

Those representing the airline have been communicating false reports, claiming the "glitches" have been fixed, when they have not.



We feel as though Southwest needs to:

-Quickly fix the "technical glitches" that have caused such chaos among the airline and customer accounts, or come up with a temporary solution in which people can use their accounts as they had before the transition

-Allow the booking of rapid reward flights via Internet and/or telephone

-Inform the customers of any problems, solutions, and time frames using more efficient methods

-Keep customers at the status they earned toward free flights, before the transition occurred



This transition has been a tremendous inconvenience to those who need to travel and prefer to use Southwest Airlines rapid rewards program. Despite this inconvenience, the staff of SWA has chosen to give very little information and very little help. Paying customers, have the right to know what is happening and should have the ability to book necessary flights, especially using our well-earned rewards.
