Soul Calibur III, for all the major systems sign now

The first time I played Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast, I believe, I was in love. The characters, the music, the atmosphere, the overall game play made me wish I could have that game. But sadly, all I have was a Gamecube, no Dreamcast.

One day, I was overwhelmed with the news that Namco was making a sequel to Soul Calibur, aptly named Soul Calibur II, and what made this better was that it was going to be released on all three of the major systems: PS2, X-Box and Gamecube. I was so happy to hear Soul Calibur II was going to be on the Gamecube. Now I can happily have one of the coolest fighting games in my game collection. I did not even care that Link was featured in the Gamecube, which was Nintendo's marketing gimmick to get the people to buy the game for their system.

Then I heard that Soul Calibur III was going to be released. I saw in the magazine the cool characters and the awesome graphics that looked crisper than the prequel. However, my heart sank that it was only going to be released for the Playstation 2. I was screaming, "Why, why, why did it have to be on the PS2?"

Okay, so I didn't say those exact words, but the meaning of this was the same nonetheless. I would like to know why you are not taking Soul Calibur III and importing it on your systems. I have played Soul Calibur III on the PS2 and it is fantastic. The many features such as make your character or choose the new character, or the fact that every character has a stage of their own makes this game special, and yet at the same time, you kept the same techniques of each character that was in the prequel. Even it is the same game play, it is this, as well as the new features, is what makes me want the game more.

Besides, everyone has a preference of why they would buy the game on the different systems, such as convenience. I am sure there are some people like me that either have an X-Box 360 or a Gamecube, but do not have a Playstation 2. This is unfair to those people. And I am sure that there are people who prefer a feature that is only exclusive to a certain system, like easy controls and lack of a loading screen for the Gamecube. I am not including the exclusive character like the ones in Soul Calibur II, because it does not seem there would be a character in the PS2 version that would be not featured in the other systems.

In short, we, the undersigned, say that Soul Calibur III should be available on the Microsoft and the Nintendo systems. It would benefit not only Microsoft and Nintendo, but to Namco, as well.
