Socom 3 sign now

The following petition was made to be sent to Zipper Interactive and any other party that has anything to do with the development of Socom III U.S. Navy Seals.

First of all if you are reading this I am very thankful you have actually taken the time and interest to look at something that many people have worked very hard on. I would also like to state right now that this is in no way made to tell you how to do your job, and should not be taken as demands. The people who have signed this petition are the people who bought and liked both socom 1 and Socom 2; we are your fans and your consumers. However the people who have signed this petition have decided that there are issues that you may or may not be aware of, and we feel that it is in everyones best interests, both you the producers and us the consumers that we can explain to you what we think could make Socom 3 U.S. Navy Seals the best game for all involved. We do not want to come to you pretending that we all have the same vision of what Socom 3 should look like, that is unrealistic, however there are key issues that we agree on. After all we are part of the core that plays your game every day, we are the people who have devoted websites to your games, and we would like to have our voices heard on how we think Socom 3 can be the best 3rd person shooter to date.

Frame Rate- While the people who have signed this petition agree that graphics are important we are willing to sacrifice them for game play. We believe that the frame rate has always been a problem on maps such as Bitter Jungle and Vigilance. Frame rate is directly related to game play and we feel that graphics or anything should be sacrificed to keep a steady, good frame rate on every map.

Hits Taken- We who have signed this petition all agree that Socom 1 had one of the best hit taken system. We think that Socom 1 was a unique, and better system than we saw in Socom 2. We think that going back to the hit system used in Socom 1 would make Socom 3 a much better game then if you used the system you did in Socom 2. This is most peoples biggest issue and the heart of why so many people were driven to sign this petition.

Weapon Balance- We the signers of this petition think that the weapons found in Socom 2 while good on their own seem to be too far titled towards the Seals. A fair weapon balance is one of the keys to promoting a competitive atmosphere in an online game such as Socom, and we feel that the Seals had too big of an advantage in Socom 2.

Hit Detection- We the signers of this petition agree that hit detection is also very important to create and keep a competitive online gaming experience. We are all on board for anything that could make the hit detection in Socom 3 better than it was in any of the other games.

We really do hope while reading this and seeing all who signed that you will take into consideration the above issues. I would just like to restate that these are in no way demands, but rather requests from fans of the game. We are stead fast in our beliefs that the following would not only make Socom 3 the best Socom game yet, but one of the most unique and best games of its kind. We thank you for your time in reading our petition.
