Security at SFO sign now

The Feburary 22, 2005 edition of the San Francisco Chronicle reported that Covenant Aviation Security, the contractor for security at San Francisco International Airport, may have cheated on tests to measure how well its officers perform their duties. The article is viewable at http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2005/02/22/MNGIJBF3LR1.DTL

This is unacceptable. We cannot have passenger security being gambled with in this manner--especially at the second-busiest airport on the West Coast, which is also a major international entry point.

The Transportation Security Administration says there's an investigation underway, but how do we know if this isn't going on at other airports? As concerned citizens and travelers, we demand a full investigation be undertaken into whether there is cheating of this type going on at other airports. We further demand that anyone guilty of this misconduct be punished to the fullest extent permissible by law and regulation.
