Say "NO" to Open Season sign now

Toys'r'us has made a promotion which states that "When you preorder you Nintendo Wii, you will receive a free game" But they did not specify what game you would be getting, there were also no terms and conditions to this promotion. There have been many reports that you get to pick your free game and many Toys'r'us employee's and manager's have been saying that. But quite recently Toys'r'us told us the game would be "Open Season" a licensed game made from a animated movie. It is against ACCC legislation (Australian Competition and Consumer Commision).

I was clearly mis-informed, when I put my preorder down I was told I would be able to choose between at least "a few" games by the sales clerk in the games section.

By not educating staff, and letting them lead customers to believe this is our choice of game, Toys R' Us should accept responcibility, and honour that which their representatives (Their Staff) have promised.

It's Toys R Us' responsibility to make the offer clear. I shouldn't have to put any more effort into finding out the details than reading the literature and asking a store clerk. I was told "you get to choose the game". I pre-ordered based on that informa

Like many others, i was told that i could pick any launch title on the day as my 'free game', and yes this did sound too good to be true so back when i pre-ordered i asked several times with the same answer..

Good job TRU in picking the worst game of all time. This is the worst thing that could have ever happened, support a better world TRU, it's not too late.
