Save our Fields sign now

The residents of Huntington Beach and are opposed to the proposed sale of the following schools sites: Wardlow, Nieblas and Lamb by the Fountain Valley School District. The sale of these properties removes many acres of scarce open space. However, more importantly the Wardlow site hosts such programs as the Huntington Valley Little League, AYSO Soccer, Head Start and the Boys and Girls Club.

Approximately $250,000 was donated recently by Major League Baseball and Mark McGwire to provide the Little League with the necessary facilities at Wardlow Park. The sale of this land would waste those donated funds. Save our Fields.

Please keep the field for all of our children to enjoy. Too many memories are made and friendships are formed as children play sports.
