Restoring Imus Programming sign now

("We is inclusive of "I" in the individual context as this petition seeks to unify support.)

We the undersigned American Citizens concerned and supportive of and for free speech in our nation, united as one and being charity contributors, consumers, fans, listeners and supporters as well of Don Imus, former host of the "Imus In the Morning" program on CBS Radio and MSNBC cable network (collectively referred to hereinafter as "networks"), hereby respectfully request of Mr. Don Imus and all staff members either also terminated by networks or still in the employ of them, to individually and collectively enter into forming their own production company to work in association with Mr. Fred Lundgren, President and CEO of Broadcast Management Services, Incorporated, Katy, Texas; toward the end goal of returning live programming via the America First Radio Network [ http://www.amfirstnetwork.com ], on broadcast radio station affiliates thereof and on the Internet with simulstreamed audio and video available globally.

The above is to commence imminently as each and every day that passes we consider to be on ongoing denial of free choice and speech.

We do not believe that Mr. Imus or any "Imus In the Morning" staff member also terminated by CBS Radio and/or MSNBC, are racists. While many of Mr. Imus' remarks through decades of broadcasting can be considered "controversial", we further do not believe that Mr. Imus or any "Imus In the Morning" staff member, in full context of the comments leading to their termination from the April 4, 2007 broad/simulcast to have been intended to be hateful or personal attacks. We additionally question the external influence(s), motivation(s), politic(s) and tactic(s) of two self-appointed "civic leaders" to coerce publicly traded American corporations into what we maintain to be "wrongful termination(s)".

We further, individually and collectively state our disagreement with the decision of CBS Radio and MSNBC to terminate Mr. Imus and specific members of his program associates with added emphasis through the following:

a) No longer consuming the goods and/or services of any company, firm, manufacturer or producer that advertises on the CBS Radio Network and/or MSNBC cable network.

b) No longer listening to any programming on any CBS Radio Network affiliate or that of any associated corporation or subsidiary of CBS Radio Network that includes CBS Television, in our homes, vehicles or at work.

c) No longer watching MSNBC cable network and at individual discretion, requesting our cable television provider to install a blocking device on MSNBC programming from coming into our businesses and/or homes -or- for the months of June, July and August 2007, completely disconnect our cable television service.

Individually and collectively we affirm our belief that the decision of CBS Radio Network and/or MSNBC cable network to terminate Mr. Imus and specific associates of the "Imus In the Morning" program, to be nothing less than a blatant affront to the Constitutionally guaranteed right of free speech. Any Citizen has the choice to listen, read or watch under that liberty as well as the right not to. We, individually and collectively, had this decision made for us by CBS Radio Network and/or MSNBC cable network and regard that as intolerable.

We have lost faith in corporate conglomerates to give us our entertainment and or news and for them to serve as "a catalyst for change" in our society on those issues that effect life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for each or all of us. We therefore implore Mr. Imus and associates to become independent of such business organizations and to work with those who took a stand for free speech, those with whom we can relate to and support, specifically those who still believe that America comes first, a foundation which their enterprise's name includes: America First Radio Network.

We further agree to work individually and collectively toward promotion and financial support of the charitable work of Mr. and Mrs. Don Imus, specifically The Imus Ranch for Kids With Cancer, located in Ribera, New Mexico.

Imus is good for America. He has helped countless number of people and organizations. What has that racist Al Sharpton ever done for our children and our veterans.
