Request to stop the extradition of Mr. Vo Duc Van to Thailand
Because Mr. Vo Duc Van is an American, a freedom and democracy advocator.
Just-Cause that American is honoring.

Date: November 8, 2006

To:
President George W. Bush,
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500,

C/c: Madame Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State
Mr. Alberto R. Gonzales, Attorney General

Dear Mr. Honorable President George W. Bush,

We are citizens of the United States and many other nations of the world. We also were refugees of the communist regimes around the world.
We are humble requesting Mr. President, Madame Secretary of States, and Mr. Attorney General - for the sake of Freedom and Democracy, which strongly promoting by the United States of American - to consider the nullification of the extradition order upon Mr. Vo Duc Van, a citizen of the United States of America.

Dear Mr. President,
We would like to take this opportunity to highlight one of your famous quotes on the Inauguration Day of 2005:

So it is the policy of the United States to seek and support the growth of democratic movements and institutions in every nation and culture, with the ultimate goal of ending tyranny in our world.
Today, America speaks anew to the peoples of the world: All who live in tyranny and hopelessness can know: The United States will not ignore your oppression, or excuse your oppressors. When you stand for your liberty, we will stand with you. Democratic reformers facing repressing, prison, or exile can know: America sees you for who you are the future leaders of your free country...

Dear Mr. President,
Your famous statement is always the true reflection of Americans values. It is also the guiding light for the rest of the world in search for Freedom, Democracy and Humanity.
For the sake of America; please do not betray that famous quote but to hold on to its principal as strong as possible, Mr. President.

Needless to say, Mr. Vo Duc Van is an advocator for the principal of the above statement. After 30 years, Democracy and Freedom and Humanity are still absent and Vietnamese still cry-out for those basic rights. Mr. Vo Duc Van could not just being an observer but to devote his life to alert the world of that injustice situation in his Motherland; in a way that will cause no harm to human life.
Unfortunately, as the last development, the United States of America will extradite Mr. Vo Duc Van to Thailand; even that the Court already found him innocent of terrorist charges.

Dear Mr. President,
Since the 9/11 disaster upon our nation. The world had re-defined the word freedom advocator, and more often it has been confused with terrorist or being taking advantage of by the dictatorship and communist governments to serve their oppression purposes.

We strongly asking you to stop the extradition of Mr. Vo Duc Van to protect the life of an American and to tell the rest of the world that American will stays firm against terrorist but also stays very firm on not letting anyone to take advantage of our fight against terrorist to isolate or destroy our beloved freedom advocators.

Respectfully,
