Remove "under God" from Pledge of Allegiance sign now

"...one nation under God..." Every schoolchild in the United States is familiar with these words -- they are the words of the Pledge of Allegiance, written in 1882. The phrase "under God" was added in 1954 (at the height of the Red Scare) to show the contrast between Communist Russia and the United States, after successful efforts by religious leaders. Now it is obvious that the addition of those two words was a clear violation of the separation of church and state. Please help to remove the term "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance by signing this petition.

I agree with this 100% I am in school myself! We do not say the pledge of allegiance daily, but at every assembly! But I do remember, in my younger years saying it, without even realizing what I was saying. I just did it because I was told to and because
