Removal of Well-being sign now

Since September 2007 school governing bodies have been under a duty to promote the well-being of children and young people, in terms of the five Every Child Matters outcomes.

This means that Secondary school students are forced give away one, if not more, periods during the day to learn how to cope with stress and related topics. I believe that the time we spend learning how to cope with stress (something that we should know about anyway) could be used for an extra GCSE or time to study a subject that you may need to catch up on.

This petition is here to ask for the support of other students who believe that the subject if Well-being should be removed from the school curriculum. The sooner we could remove this subject the better.
