Release Power Rangers DVDs and rerelease old toys sign now

Created 1/3/2006

To ABC, BVS Entertainment and the Bandai America toy company:

We, the Undersigned, would like to see the original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" toys re-released and put back on the toy shelves where they belong. We would also like to see the original TV series put on DVD, in season by season box sets instead of just "best of" style DVDs.

For the toys, despite the fact the show has long since ended its original incarnation since its 1993 debut, the demand for the classic Power Rangers toys still exists. To this day, fans go to conventions, online, etc. to find the original merchandise and buy them. The original Megazord alone is so hard to find and doesn't sell for less than $100, if you're lucky to find them.

Of the original toys, the possibilities are endless for re-releasing or even making all-new toys of the characters. Here are among the many toys we'd like to see sold again:

- The original 8 inch tall, original six Rangers (Blue, Yellow, Black, Red, Pink and Green)

- The White Ranger

- The Evil Space Aliens (Lord Zedd, Goldar, the Putties, etc.), in 8 inch and/or 5 inch styles

- The Monsters (King Sphinx, Eye Guy, Nasty Knight, Bloom of Doom, Robogoat, etc.) in 8 inch and/or 5 inch styles

- The 5 inch tall Auto Morphin Power Rangers (which shows the Rangers with their helmets and without to show their faces)

- The original Megazord

- The Dragonzord

- The Thunderzords

The list for the toys go on and on.

As for the TV series on DVD, we would like to see the show be put on DVD in season by season sets with extra features.

Among the extra features of the DVD, we'd like to see the following, if possible:

- commentary by anyone who will participate - cast members, crew members, series creators

- outtakes/bloopers

- deleted scenes (if any)

- documentary about the show with the cast (such as interviews with original Pink Ranger Amy Jo Johnson, interview with Green/White Ranger Jason David Frank, original Red Ranger Austin St. John and others)

- documentary honoring cast/crew members no longer with us, such as Thuy Trang (the original Yellow Ranger) and Robert L. "Bob" Manahan (the second actor to play Zordon)

- bonus soundtrack of the songs of Power Rangers; include the songs that were heard during episodes of the MMPR TV series to allow the fans to listen to them (such as "Fight", "Combat", "I Will Win", "Go Green Ranger, Go", and, of course, the classic "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" theme - most of which were included on the now out-of-print "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Album (A Rock Adventure)" CD soundtrack)

Please re-release the old Power Rangers merchandise again. There are a lot more fans looking for the old toys and waiting for the classic series to be released on DVD than you might think.
