Regulate the MTA/Long Island Rail Road sign now

For a few years now the Long Island Rail Road/MTA has been "rail roading" the people of Long Island. From unjustified fare hike and service cuts, to single ride and round trip tickets that have a new life of only 14 days. This new round of rules put in place by the MTA does nothing but hurt their customers. A round trip ticket that costs $27 at the machine expires and cannot be used after 14 days. I remember when I kept a ticket in my wallet for 6 months with no issues. So you realize you won't get to use the ticket before it expires and you want to get a refund. That's when they hit you with a $10 processing fee. This to me doesn't seem like good business. The MTA is a monopoly and unless we all stand together they will continue to do outrageous things to fund unjustified costs. Who is looking out for the best interest of the commuter? Where is the oversite? If you have had enough of the MTA and their constant bullying then please sign this petition. Thank you.
