Quidditch Tournament at The Witching Hour should be Swiss-Style sign now

We believe the Quidditch tournament at The Witching Hour would be better off if it was ran in a "swiss-style" format (for the record, the general concept of a swiss-style tournament is explained here: http://www.fact-index.com/t/to/tournament.html#Swiss\%20style\%20tournaments)

Under the swiss-style format, teams will not be eliminated after losing. They will be able to play all matches until the "cut;" that is, the point in which the top four teams are determined and the single-elimination finals begin.

Not only is it much more fun, much more valuable, and much more logical for the players, we believe running tournaments in a swiss-style fashion maintains the integrity and fairness of the tournament game-state.
-If two teams tie, there is no confusion as to what is to be done; both teams receive one swiss victory point (instead of the normal winner getting 3 and loser getting 0) and we pair the next round accordingly. Under single-elimination, this does not work.
-It is also a better measure of who the best teams are (which is the point of a -tournament- in the first place). For example, a stellar team may get an unlucky draw round one and play against a horrible team whose strategy only works against the first team. The first team loses, knocking them out, while an otherwise horrible team moves on. Every other team still in the tournament would A. defeat the horrible team and B. lose to the stellar team. Under the swiss-style rules, the stellar team would (barring any unforeseen circumstances) win it all, as they rightfully should.

In conclusion, we believe running Quidditch at The Witching Hour in a swiss-style format would be the best bet. Swiss-style tournaments dim the luck factor immensely, they are more fun for the players, and it solves many underlying conflicts (tournament-state- *and* timing-wise) not mentioned here. If the tournament is ran swiss-style, us *paying* participants would be thankful in many ways.

***!!!*** As a side note, the author of the petition (as well as nearly everyone he has discussed this with) feels Quidditch as a whole would be infinitely better off if the value of the Snitch was lowered to 50, as opposed to the canonical 150. This would make QuafflePlay count; as it stands now (at 150) QuafflePlay is irrelevent. Quidditch is a fourteen player game, not two. In the books, 150 works; in reality, it doesn't. Please indicate when you sign this petition whether or not you agree the value of Snitch should be 50. ***!!!***
