Push for a stricter AAA code of conduct sign now

As a competitive sports athlete, I've come to realize that it's hard to stay competitive without having fun playing the sport you love. On April 27th, I was ejected from my AAA baseball game against the Lowell Cardinals for unsportsmanlike conduct in where I acted out of line and used profane language. What led me to explode in anger was the fact that Lowell acted obnoxiously and for the 2 out of 5 2/3 innings I'd pitched, I was hearing a high pitched screeching noise coming from the Lowell dugout which rang in my ear every single pitch. I believe what Lowell did was wrong as well as what I did. Below is an excerpt from page 74 of the CIF AAA (California Interscholastic Federation, Academic Athletic Association) rulebook:

The CIF and the San Francisco Section has adopted the 16 Principles of Pursuing Victory with Honor.
1. The essential elements of character building and ethics in CIF sports are embodied in the concept of sportsmanship and six core principles: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, and caring and good citizenship. The highest potential of sports is achieved when competition reflects these six pillars of character.
11. Everyone involved in competition including parents, spectators, associated study body leaders, and all auxiliary groups have a duty to honor the traditions of the sport and to treat other participants with respect. Coaches have a special responsibility to model respectful behavior and the duty to demand that their student athletes refrain from disrespectful conduct including verbal abuse of opponents and officials, profane or belligerent trash talking, taunting and inappropriate celebrations.

Number one is basically outlining what's expected, but during my game against the Lowell Cardinals, rule number eleven was abused to the fullest extent. Lowell was never punished for their actions, not even a mere warning. I was being singled out for an event where both teams should've been punished.

What I'm asking for of Don Collins, Commissioner of Athletics for the AAA, is to strictly enforce these rules and penalize whoever chooses to disobey the rules, including my actions on April 27th. We should all be enjoying the game of baseball rather than dreading playing a team who will taunt their opponent the whole game.

Please sign this petition if you firmly believe in what I believe. Everyone should be having fun playing the sport of baseball whether they love it or not. Writing out your real name will help me solidify my petition and I want to make a push to put stricter guidelines into effect.
