Presidential Debate 2008 at Cornell University sign now
We strongly believe that Cornell University should host a Presidential Debate in 2008. As the largest Ivy league school, and an institution committed to public service, Cornell is an idea venue. The Mock Election-sponsored U.S. Senate Debate at Cornell this past January *broadcast live* showed that Cornell has the ability to host such a debate. A Presidential Debate would not only help Cornell's image, but it would also significantly contribute to campus life. Furthermore, as the State's land-grant institution, Cornell should look to 2006 and sponsor Senatorial and Gubernatorial Debates. Cornell students are eager to work with the Administration to coordinate these debates.
