Please Proceed With The Execution Of Michael Ross sign now

The State Of Connecticut first instituted the death penalty in 1636. This state however, has not executed a criminal convicted and sentenced to death, since 1960.

I believe that when Michael Ross was convicted 20 years ago, a competent jury listened and tried the case. The verdict was guilty and the sentence was death by lethal injection.

On that note, I would like everyone to remember that anyone who can rape and murder eight women is not completely sane. This person is a very sick, disgusting individual, whether it be "just because" or by some sort of mental defect or desease,But one points still rings true, he is and always will be a menace to society.

For his lawyer to now question his competence some 20 years later and try to institute a new disorder known as Death Row Syndrome is absurd.

This man should have died Wednesday January 23,2005. However after much legal debate and appeals, his life remains.

I ask everyone to sign this petition in an effort to make this a steadfast process, drop all further inquiries and put this man to death at least for the victims of his heinous crimes and their families.

In Connecticut there seems to be an increasing trend toward conservatism when trying to implement the death penalty. History cant provide the answer as to what will or should happen to Michael Ross, who has the right to appeal up until the moment of his execution, but it can give todays society some perspective on how and why the death penalty should not be abolished.

The death penalty does deter crime, it is cost efficient, it is not in any way economically and racially biased, and it does provide closure to families - it is not simply revenge, it is justice!

Please sign this petition and pass it on.

Sincerely,

Jennifer L. Colucci
