Petition to re-instate T T Durai as CEO of the NKF sign now

We, the undersigned, petition to have MR T T Durai reinstated as Chief Executive Officer of the National Kidney Foundation. The undue pressure bought to bear by the ignorant plebeians of Singapore for his resignation was unwarranted. If Singapore's government ministers can be paid up to S$1 million for having built up and protecting reserves of S$100 billion while increasing numbers of people are being reduced to poverty, surely Mr Durai deserves to be paid S$600,000 for having built up and preserving reserves of S$200 million for a charitable organisation, without the political and business resources of the Singapore government, and its financial pawns, Temasek Holdings and the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, while being miserly towards those with genuine need for help from the NKF. Mr Durai's alleged abuses, including fitting a gold tap in his office, having a fleet of 8 luxury cars and flying first class is no worse than similar abuses at the top levels of many government linked companies, statutory authorities, ministries and other organs of state, which the Straits Times, the government's mouthpiece, does not investigate. Mr Durai's resignation was brought about by mass hysteria induced by the media by inflaming the jealousy and spite of low-income Singaporeans. Mr Durai's mistake was in thinking he was sufficiently ensconsed within government circles to be able to take on the Straits Times and win. Does he really deserve to lose his job, and his pay, for being so stupid?
