New Jersey Against Kyleigh's Law (Bill A4021 ) sign now
Assemblymen and Assemblywomen,
We the undersigned feel that "Kyleigh's Law" places too many restrictions upon drivers under the age of twenty-one (21). If at the age eighteen (18) you are at the legal age to serve your country in war, then you should not have to drive under such harsh restrictions. We recognize and understand the story of Kyleigh D'Alessio. We sympathize with the D'Alessio family but the restrictions are ridicules and are unnecessary. We understand that statistics have shown that teen driving is a leading cause in teen death, but laws such as these are ludacris. The state of New Jesey is such a wonderful place to live, why should we let these laws hinder that for those affected by this law.
Thank you for taking a moment review our cause.
We welcome you to contact njTAKL (New Jersey Teens Against Kyleigh's Law), the organization behind this petition, with any questions.
