Netflix: Reconsider raising your prices for those who rent Blu-ray format discs. sign now

My self and others are concerned by your statement that the high cost of the Blu-ray disc format are going to cause you to raise your monthly prices. Not only are the discs not that much more expensive. The average life expectancy of the discs are 1-3 years based on your 2007 annual report. As the format matures the price of disc will level out in line with the current DVD prices. There is no guarantee that the monthly fee will return to pre-hike rates.

I will either switch online rental services or cancel your service, or seriously consider one of the previous two options if this comes to light. Please take this into consideration when making your decision.
