Music Listeners Rights sign now

We who sign this petition believe it to be true that the confiscating of CD players, iPods, MP3 players, or any digital audio device to be unconstitutional under the first amendment of the United States Bill of Rights, and therefore, must assert that the ban be lifted from the Code of Conduct immediately.

People who listen to any of the aforementioned devices are not bothering anybody by using them at anytime during the day, including class time. If they choose not to listen to the instructor teach, then that is their choice, and it isn't the school districts place to "discipline" students for making a choice that is well within their rights as a United States citizen.
