Multilingual Voice-Over/Text for NTSC & PAL PlayStation3 games. sign now

As you know we all (the gamers) live in different places around the world. As a result we get to play different versions of the games. You are also aware that Japan has many uppermost developers of PlayStation software.
These developers have created games that established a large fan base around the world. Namco, Sega, Konami, Tecmo are only few to mention. The game developers (depending on where they are situated) provide an "original" language that environs the in-game dialogues/story/events/plot/scenario (in this case it happens to be the Japanese language since we are talking about JP developers). As you know the persons who develop/create/design these games have Japanese nationality and hence they communicate on their daily affairs in Japanese. Subsequently they plan their games in Japanese and of course they write the game story in Japanese. Therefore I say that the Japanese language is the "original" language for the in-game content, due to the fact that the games/products are being developed in Japan. (However there are some exceptions, like the Biohazard-Resident Evil series, etc...)

In any case when their (JP developers') games get released in the US & European market, mostly the games are getting dubbed, which of course means that the so called original language (Japanese) that applies for the in-game content is gone. So we have "losses" among the different versions (Japanese version to Western versions). Games like Metal Gear Solid, Onimusha and Zone Of The Enders are good examples (in fact there are many, but it is useless to numerate all of them here). So the gamers, who want/prefer the original language (or an alternative language if you will) are "trapped/encaged" because they happen to live outside from Japan. SITUATION IS UNACCEPTABLE!

Currently thanks to Blu-Ray's enormous capacity the option for multilingual voice over/text is feasible. A gamer that lives outside from Japan when he/she plays his/her favorite game should have the option to enjoy the game like he/she was playing the Japanese version (AND CONTRARILY!). So what matters now is whether or not the game developers & publishers will take advantage of the Blu-Ray technology and adopt the policy of multilingual voice over in the various game versions. That's why we sign this petition.

In other words we demand to play our games with all the available voice overs, with all the available languages that appeared among the various versions (JP, US, PAL etc...) irrespective of the version that we own!
We live in the world of globalization. Multilingual option is a unavoidable necessity! For instance: We demand to play the US/PAL version of the forthcoming Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of The Patriots with the option to choose between Japanese/English voice over/text!
