Move Forward With Demolition sign now

This petition concerns the 2 buildings within Somerville more commonly known as Central 1 and Central 2. In 1998 and 2004 residents of Somerville voted and passed referendums concerning, among other things, the demolition of these 2 buildings. In recent months a few people have come forward and are now trying to stop this. They claim we were not informed properly of the districts intentions and that the BOE should stop all plans for demolition and complete more studies to see how these buildings can be used. We as taxpayers of Somerville have already voted and passed this. This petition is in FAVOR or the demolition and moving forward with the planned project. Let's not waste another tax dollar on re-doing what we have already done, voted on and approved.

It is a crime that both my kids went through the school system and did not have any recreational area to enjoy while in the Middle School. Do we really need another study. My taxes are high enough, and you are right, we voted and passed this issue already
