Moderating and Vetting Editors of SB Nation sign now

We the undersigned, be it sports fans or otherwise, proponents or opponents of Atlantic Yards or otherwise, Nets fans or otherwise: demand that SB Nation live up to it's mission statement standards and instill a moderating system and vetting of editors and commenters on NetsDaily.com - a blog that exists as part of your network.

Taken directly from the SB Nation Website:
Fans First
"SB Nation is the largest and fastest-growing network of fan-centric online sports communities. From the beginning, we've focused on developing the highest quality grassroots sports sites on the webrecruiting only the most respected bloggers and writers to build their communities at SB Nation and empowering passionate fans to engage in the conversation.

We take a different approach to online sports media. We offer well over 200 (and growing quickly) distinct team and sport-specific sites, each with its own name, URL, team colors, writers, and guidelines. In a world where media companies are slashing their editorial coverage, no one matches SB Nation's commitment to serve fans so deeply or broadly. Check out our full directory to find the SB Nation community for your favorite sport or team.

Our flagship site, SBNation.com covers sports stories that rise to national significance. Our innovative approach ensures that fans receive all important news updates and opinions the moment they break from all relevant sources -- all delivered with the same engaging fan voices and conversation that characterize our individual sport and team sites."

The "quality" of articles often instigates posting that leads to vicious attacks, hate mongering, and a disrespectful forum for any real "engaging conversation," or opinions. As the host of this network it is SB Nation's responsibility to nurture an environment that leads to an actual discourse and discussion, and yes arguments. Arguments however, that are not nested in name calling and vicious attacks that border on racist, anti-semitic, and other kinds of archaic bullying. Such posts as found on NetsDaily.com neither promote "conversation" nor characterizes an "engaging fan voice."

This can hardly be the community that SB Nation wishes to build and we request that you take steps to set a precedent in the realm of conversational differences, opinions and views, without the vicious attacks that anonymous writing invokes. "For Quality and Fan Perspective" and as a corporate entity with a reputation to uphold, we demand that you create a better moderating system for your blog networks, immediately.
