MMU Students against the NUS stance on Lecture strikes sign now

Since the 7th March a large number of MMU lecturers have been participating in the national assessment boycott in protest against poor wages. Although the principles behind this boycott are strong and clear, this action has so far brought the lecturers no closer to a better pay deal, but rather has only made University life harder for students. In a dispute with the University, it should not be the students who suffer.

This petition seeks to make it clear to the NUS that the students whom it is supposed to represent wish for them to cease supporting the NATFHE and AUT strike action.
