Mesa/Boogie MkIIC+ Reissue sign now

In 1983 (or around then) the Mesa/Boogie guitar company released the most famous version of the worlds first channel switching amplifier, the Mark IIC+ (the "+" version actually came in 1984, but its almost identical to the MkIIC). This amplifier was used by many famous musicians to create amazing sounds that have caused this amplifier to become a highly sought-after legend, most notable users are James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett of Metallica and John Petrucci of Dream Theatre. A few years later, after around 3000 MkII varients were made, the amp was discontinued to make way for the worlds first "tri-modal" amplifier, the MkIII. Today the original MkIIC+s are rated as one of the best amplifiers of all time and can cost (used) three times the original cost, and are hard to find. The amp came in a variety of formats, the most desirable being a long chassis head with the reverb, graphic EQ and "Simul-Class" options.

Many musicians and Boogie fans want one of these amps and the idea of a reissue has been circulated around at least once before. And thats what this petiition is for, to have this classic amp reissued to bring happiness to tone junkies around the world and on Mesa/Boogies part, what will probably be a very nice income.

If you want to have the legendary MkIIC+ reissued please sign this petition, hopefully enough support will be gathered to make Mesa/Boogie seriously consider putting the MkIIC+ into production again.
