Latest Victim of Racism: Dr Karim Asaad was killed for being DIFFERENT sign now

Dear Friends:

Please support us in our fight for justice. Dr Karim Asaad, a 31 year old Doctor from Egypt met with a violent and horrific death at Princess Trust Hospital, Wales.

He was a much loved friend, brother and son who was cruelly taken from us before his time. He had his whole life ahead of him. He was a strong, responsible, intelligent, charismatic, and optimistic individual who cherished life. Like any young man, he had dreams and hopes for the future. He was planning to get married and have a family, he wanted to succeed at this career, and he wanted to take care of his parents and sister.

He cared for people and became a doctor because he wanted to save lives, yet had his own life so brutally and maliciously taken from him. He was a good decent person who wanted to do good. He came to the UK to pursue his career and further his studies. Not only has his family and friends been unjustly robbed of his life but so has humanity.

He was subjected to extreme racism and discrimination. He was harassed and bullied because he was different. He reported it to the appropriate people at the hospital, but no action was taken. He may still be alive today, if something had been done. Is it a crime to be different? And does being different mean that you have to die for it?

His body bares the scars of his violent end - he had been mercilessly beaten to death. Yet the hospital and the authorities want to disguise this as a suicide! Why? Too ashamed of the reality? Don't want a public outcry or diplomatic incident? Protecting the guilty?

Dr Karim Asaad was MURDERED and on top of that his name has been falsely maligned with a ridiculous accusation. All those who know him are appalled by this dreadful allegation. A man who was making plans for the future is not a man who is contemplating suicide. Although he was unhappy with the way he was being treated at the hospital, he was still a happy and hopeful person who loved life, who loved his family.

Karim was a proud Muslim who held his religious beliefs dearly. He didn't drink because it was against his religion. Then how could he take his own life which is against Islamic teaching. He was a strong and confident person with great strength and courage. He was a fighter, a survivor, someone who never gave up easily.... He was the type of person who gave others hope, yet it is being suggested that he killed himself. Someone who has committed suicide does not bare the marks of violent beatings and strangulation. Why are the authorities dishonouring the memory of a dead victim?

A very grave injustice is being committed against Dr Karimand his family. Its appalling the inhumane and undignified way in which his body was treated, the lack of sensitivity, compassion and respect that was shown to his family. The incompetency of the Welsh Police to properly investigate this case is shocking. The behaviour of the British and Egyptian Embassies and their unwillingness to take any action to find out the TRUTH is bewildering and saddening. Is the life of a human being worth nothing in the sight of diplomatic relationships? What is the point of having Laws, Freedoms and Human Rights when we only pay lip service to them, when we cannot depend on them to offer us protection and justice?

If there is nothing to hide, then why are our pleas being ignored?

His family are devastated by the tragedy and still cant believe that he is gone. Its any parents worst nightmare. The person(s) responsible for Karim's death need to be brought to justice. The TRUTH needs to be EXPOSED.

Please support our plight. This isn't about religion or race or countries but about doing the right thing. Its about tolerance and respect and human rights. Lets all stand together as conscientious human beings and show our solidarity against such heinous crimes.

Please show your support to a grieving family who have been thrown into darkness, who want justice for their son and brother, who want to clear his name of a hideous allegation. Let them know that they are not alone, that we care. Karim is lost to us forever but we can ease some of the pain and suffering.

Please help us to get Karim the dignity and respect that he so deserves and to show the world that this is NOT acceptable. No one deserves to die this way or have their name defamed after death.
