Keep BBC's Casualty in Bristol sign now

We the undersigned urge the BBC to stop the move of Casualty from Bristol to Cardiff. Moving a regional production from one nation to a different nation, does not mean the BBC are producing more regional programmes.

Bristol is proud of Casualty and would like it to stay, especially as it provides many jobs in support industries as well as for the cast and crew.

It is difficult to see how the BBC can justify spending large amounts of licence payers' money on an unnecessary move, which would put many of those same licence payers out of work in the current economic climate.

We don't want Casualty in Cardiif - it wipes out opportunities for new and original drama from Wales' creative talent. We need more opportunity for drama outside London, creative and cultural diversity in narrative opportunity. Network commissioning execu

It has to stay in bristol. When you change big this like that in a program it's not the same and sometimes not as good. Leave it alone it's been going on all this time.

There are not enough trained TV technicians to cope the present work load in Cardiff, to the take work away from Bristol where the talent base exists would be foolish in the extreme.
