Indo-U.S. Nuclear Cooperation Bill sign now

We as Indo-Americans urge you, our Representatives in the House, to please vote YES to the U.S - India Nuclear Cooperation Bill, as it is in the interest of both the U.S. and India.

It is imperative that this Bill is passed, as it will bring the world's largest democracy and the biggest democracy together. It is in the larger interest of the U.S. that with the passing of the Bill, India's dependence on the Iranian oil will be reduced, create thousands of new American jobs and will have a friend playing a strategic role in the Indian sub-continent for the U.S.

The failure of this Bill will greatly impact the Indo-US ties for years to come. It could mark the beginning of the end of what was being termed as a New Era in the Indo-U.S. relations. The Indian axis could then once again tilt towards Russia and there will be less of cooperation on all fronts with the nation that has its economy growing at a breathtaking pace.

Please have this on record that we, all the Indo-Americans, promise to closely monitor the voting pattern of every U.S. Representative and will remember your alignment during the electoral process in time to come.
