PETITION

Name of Water:

Umpqua River (Mainstem), North Umpqua River, South Umpqua River, and Tributaries

Zone:

Existing Rule:

Only adipose fin-clipped steelhead may be kept.

Proposed Rule:

No rule change is proposed. We support the existing rule requiring release of all non-adipose fin-clipped (wild) steelhead.

Purpose:

The intent of this petition is to show support for the existing catch and release regulations that protect non-adipose fin-clipped steelhead throughout the Umpqua system (including the mainstem, North, and South Umpqua Rivers).
