In Support of Journalists in Yemen sign now

We the undersigned stand with the people of Yemen and support their right to a Free Press.

We support the Yemeni media and the right of journalists to work free of intimidation, censorship and the threat of imprisonment.

We urge the release of Abdulkarim Al-Khaiwani, the editor-in-chief of Al-Shura Weekly.

We urge that Al-Shura be allowed to resume publication. We urge that Al-Neda and Al-Hurriye be allowed to resume publication.

We urge that the democratic reforms you have initiated be brought to fruition for the benefit of the noble Yemeni people. We urge that the media be allowed to perform its function, so vital in a democracy, freely and without duress.
