Holder, Please Support a College Football Playoff sign now

The recent rejection of the plus one system by the BCS Committee has shown that the current college football leadership has no intention of moving toward a playoff system. This is in spite of strong support from Division I College Football fan community. This decision is made by Conference Commissioners who represent the Athletic Directors of their conferences universities. Therefore, for change to happen, the Athletic Directors must first support such a change.

The purpose of this petition is to request that Mike Holder, Oklahoma State University Athletic Director, would support a playoff system as outlined in the following:

1. That Mike Holder would support a playoff in the form of (but not limited to) one of the following:
A playoff of 4 teams or more that will be seeded by a yet undefined method and would determine an official NCAA national Champion
The inception of a plan that would map out movement toward a playoff such as increasing the number of participants over the process of several years

2. That Mike Holder would do so by publicly professing this support in the form of (but not limited to) one or more of the following:
University Media such as Websites, Newsletters, or Radio
Public Media
Press Release
Press Conference

3. That Mike Holder would profess and encourage described support for a playoff among the other members of the Big XII Conference and the NCAA. The means and extent of such action would be decided upon by Mike Holder.

During his time as Athletic Direct at Oklahoma State University, Mike Holder has continually demonstrated a desire to listen to and act in the best interest of Oklahoma State University Fans and Alumni. We thank Mike Holder for this support and ask that this situation be treated no differently. Thank you.
