Higher-Division Korean Courses Petition sign now

Dear Dr. John N. Tsuchida:

The currently and previously enrolled students of Korean 101 and 102 have signed this petition to display the impact the Korean language program has made in our academic career. As the students this program serves, we are asking you and other candidates to support our petition and consider the addition of advanced Korean language courses.

Courses Korean 101 and 102 have not only introduced the basic understanding of the language to non-Korean students, but they have also broke down the language barrier that some Korean-American students have had with members of their family. With these classes garnering much success, it is important that we have the resources to continue building on the foundation of a language we appreciate.

Please join us and commit to the goal of further expanding the Korean language program for California State University, Long Beach. Your support and leadership will be vital in this proposal.

Thank you for your consideration.
