== Help Sen. Webb Achieve a GAO Probe into the Missing UFO-E.T. Records at Fort Bragg, N. C.! ==

BACKGROUND:

In the early nineties, when the late New Mexico congressman Steven Schiff tasked the U. S. Government Accountability Office to investigate and report upon the whereabouts of certain key records about the now-famous 1947 UFO-E.T. crash-landing/retrieval incident near Roswell, N. M., he entered the history books of modern UFO research. Now, Virginia's U. S. Sen. James Webb has the opportunity to pick up where Schiff left off -- by asking the GAO chief to investigate the whereabouts of all official records pertaining to the whistleblower-reported 1980s incident at Fort Bragg, N. C., wherein certain Army security personnel confronted (for at least two hours) a landed UFO and its extraterrestrial crew. For some detail on this case, see Items 2.61--2.63 of my blog at http://ufoview.posterous.com . Item 2.63 includes the text of my April 20, 2010, letter to Sen. Webb, requesting that he seek from the GAO a Roswellian-styled quest for the Bragg encounter's records. Besides signing this petition, you can support my request by contacting your own U. S. senators with the request that they endorse any effort by Webb to task the GAO with the goal of discovering/disclosing the whereabouts of all Bragg-UFO-related records created in the 1980s; in these contacts, you of course might wish to cite the URL for this petition: http://www.petitiononline.com/braggufo/petition.html . And you might wish to forward to me a copy of your senators' replies.

TEXT OF THE PETITION:

Whereas, the late New Mexico congressman Steven Schiff succeeded in tasking the U. S. Government Accountability Office to investigate and report upon the whereabouts of all official records pertaining to the Roswell, N. M., UFO-E.T. "crashed saucer" case of July 1947;

Whereas, certain freedom-of-information officials at Fort Bragg, N. C., recently have proclaimed the non-existence of any Bragg-based records pertaining to the whistleblower-exposed incident of UFO-E.T. contact at Bragg during the 1980s; and

Whereas, UFO researcher Larry W. Bryant is requesting that his U. S. senator, James Webb, seek a GAO investigation into the current whereabouts of the sought-for records --

We, the undersigned persons, hereby endorse Mr. Bryant's request and urge all members of the U. S. Congress to endorse it -- in the spirit of the people's right-to-know and the government's duty-to-tell.
