Governor Riley Corruption Investigation sign now

Dear Attorney Holder;

I am seeking your assistance after your confirmation as the Attorney General for the United States. I am asking for an investigation into Alabamas Governor Bob Rileys involvement in quid pro quo corruption.
Governor Riley is using his influence to overturn a scheduled bingo & entertainment facility in Houston County, Alabama. The bingo and entertainment complex, Country Crossing, passed the Alabama Legislature and has been heartily approved by the citizens of Houston County. Country Crossing would bring over 1,000 needed jobs to the area.

Even though Country Crossing has already broken ground, Governor Riley recently called a press conference to announce his decision to appointment a single party to investigate and decide the viability of Country Crossing. Unfortunately, Governor Riley has an ulterior and self serving motive and he is unable to be impartial in these proceedings as shown by the following AP article.

Choctaws spent $13 million to elect Riley, Senate reports
By Phillip Rawls Associated Press Writer June 29, 2006

A U.S. Senate committee reported that disgraced Washington lobbyist
Jack Abramoff told a tribal leader that the Mississippi Band of Choctaw
Indians spent $13 million to elect Gov. Bob Riley in 2002.

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee issued a lengthy report that quotes
William Worfel, former vice chairman of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana,
as saying that Abramoff told him that Mississippi Choctaw Chief Phillip
Martin had spent the money "to get the governor of Alabama elected to
keep gaming out of Alabama so it wouldn't hurt . . . his market in
Mississippi."

Furthermore, I am asking that you replace Alabamas U.S. Attorney, Leura Canary. Attorney Leura Canary has shown that she has been unwilling and unable to do her job as an employee of the United States Justice Department in a non partisan manner. Ms. Canary secured an appointment to a licensing board which controls gambling in Alabama which makes her unable to be impartial. Furthermore, Canarys husband, William, has strangling ties to Governor Bob Riley, to Carl Rove and to the Republican Party.

Alabamas history of political corruption needs to end NOW. I am asking for your help in bringing about political transparency and justice to Alabama and ending quid pro quo corruption.
