Governemt Help for Fairfield RSPCA sign now

The floods of January 2011 have been devastating for us all; some more so than others. It is estimated that seventy-five percent of Queensland has been affected by this disaster. Great spirit and charity has been shown already, with communities coming together to help each other out and the government stepping in with funding and support.

Sadly, some of our smaller citizens are often forgotten in these times.

The RSPCAs shelter and head office in Fairfield has been all but destroyed in these floods. From the RSPCA themselves:

"Surveying the Damage - Fairfield Shelter 2011: In order to get the shelter operational, it is estimated that it will cost hundreds of thousands to help rebuild and purchase infrastructure, equipment and supplies. An additional $400,000 is needed to help rebuild and refit the Veterinary and Desex Clinic, both of which lost everything."

They are in urgent need of donations. However, I believe the QLD government needs to step in and help them out as well.

If you agree, please sign below. Help the RSPCA to get back up and running as soon as possible!
