French Immersion program at McDowell School sign now

French Immersion program at McDowell School

This petition is to see how many parents are interested in enrolling their children in a French Immersion program at Dr. S.E. McDowell Elementary School in Shawville, QC.

Because there is currently no French Immersion program offered at McDowell in Shawville, parents who wish to send their children to benefit from the program have to send their young ones to a neighbouring community, resulting in longer bus rides.

A French Immersion program located in Shawville would be a great service to offer to the residents of Shawville, as well as: Clarendon, Bristol, Thorne, and Portage Du Fort.

Please sign your name to this petition if you are interested in having your child enrolled in a French Immersion program at Dr. S.E. McDowell Elementary School in Shawville, QC.

We also welcome the names of parents who currently have children in daycare but would like to enroll their child once he/she is of school age.

As parents we all want what is best for our children. For my husband and I it has been a struggle to make a decision on where to send our children to school. We would really like for our kids to be billingual as we both struggle in that area as it is almo
