This petition is to urge the OSPCA (Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ) to return Lyla, a four-month-old female Husky to her rightful, legal owner, from which they took from him illegally, and did so in violation of the OSPCA Act 13(1)(a) and (b), 13(2), 14(a) and 14(b).

There was no case of physical abuse or mental distress, therefore there was no reason under the OSPCA Act to remove the animals, but they removed them anyway and so in violation of their own act.

This petition is also to oppose the killing of the owner's blind and epileptic German Shepherd Dog, who was also illigally siezed from him, for her "protection."

Two dogs taken from an owner who loved them, and cared for them well. Let the OSPCA know how you feel about this. Let your voice be heard.

The Shepherd should Never have been put down! Obviously she had been living well with her condition, under his care, and thriving. This is outrageous. The Husky pup should be returned immediately! The abuse allegations have been dropped and the dog still

If you think he's so bad, give him his dog, and get REAL evidence. If you're so sure that this man is bad...then I assure you, breaking the law to 'fix' it is no way to do things.

What you people did was wrong..Killing a special needs dog after taking her away from the only safe home she knew was wrong. Plus you need to return Lyla, a four-month-old female Husky to her rightful, legal owner, from which they took from him illegally,

Injustice like this needs to be put to a stop. People who make profit and businesses like this should be shut down immediately. It is people like this who are ruining society and endangering lives. Even if those lives cannot speak in a language we cannot

Sounds like someone at the OSPCA either has some issues with the owner of the dogs, or some issues period. Here's hoping the husky will be returned alive. -Meanybeany

As the owner of a troublesome, but loveable cat, this entire story appals me. What the mother and the OSPCA did was wrong and illegal.

That is wrong if someone loves their pets and takes good care of them they should not take them away! I would be devastated if someone took Baxter away from me for no reason! (Baxter is my dog)
