Federal same-sex adoption law sign now

There are over 500,000 children in the United States alone who need "forever homes" to call their own. Something that would might go a long way towards fixing that problem is to create a Federal law that would allow same-sex couples to legally and openly adopt children in need of homes.

Currently, only nine states have laws to that effect: California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Washington state, Wisconsin, and Washington D.C. while Florida is the only one to outright ban gay adoption.

Obviously, this is not enough, with 40 other states in limbo over the issue. I think it's time that we took action and made the federal government make a final decision to help the countless numbers of children who need homes.
