Federal PTSD Veterans Advocacy Agency sign now

According to Federal Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) December 2006 estimates, there are already 98,000 new PTSD Disabled Veterans, due to the War on Terror. This number is expected to grow. Between all the wars, there must be close to 400,000 surviving, disabled PTSD veterans.

There is a tremendous need for a Federal PTSD Veterans Advocacy Agency.

It is time for our President and Congressional Leaders to act. America asked for these honorable men and women to serve our nation, now, it is time for America to insure these heroes get the proper care, respect and Civil Rights. (And Reasonable Disability Accommodation, where and when necessary.)

The Department of Justice/Department of Health and Human Services/Department of Veterans Affairs [VA]/ Department of Education / Etc. must work together to establish a "one stop" place for PTSD disabled Veterans and their families to obtain help, support and their rights.

There are NO Reasonable Accommodations for the PTSD disabled. Because of this, the federal Justice Department is lost when it comes to our Civil Rights. A Federal PTSD Veterans Advocacy Agency will insure that disabled veterans are treated always with Reasonable Disability Accommodations.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Information

Title II requires that State and local governments give people with disabilities an equal opportunity to benefit from all of their programs, services, and activities (e.g. public education, employment, transportation, recreation, health care, social services, courts, voting, and town meetings).

They (The State's) are required to make reasonable modifications to policies, practices, and procedures where necessary to avoid discrimination, unless they can demonstrate that doing so would fundamentally alter the nature of the service, program, or activity being provided. (The Federal Department of Justice - Civil Rights Division)

Although there are a number of reasonable disability accommodations for the physically disabled, there is NOT one reasonable accommodation for the PTSD disabled.

REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR THE PTSD DISABLED should be determined by medical specialists; Congress and/or our federal Supreme Court.

Again, it is time for our President and Congressional Leaders to move forward in starting a Federal PTSD Veterans Advocacy Agency.
