Fair Wages and Benefits for Public School Teachers of California sign now

This a petition showing the amount of people who support the teachers of public school teachers in California. The school districts are in a state of dismay and injustice. These teachers are the backbone to the entire education system. They are being denied the rights to fair wages, neccessary benefits, and even the respect of what they do. On March 13th, 2009, over 26,000 teachers were handed 'pink-slips' stating their 'services were no longer needed after the school year has ended.' All academics achievements will suffer if this unfairness continues. The government has already taken away our sports, music, and art programs. Don't stand by and allow them to take away our teachers!
