Fair Pay For CMP Employees sign now

While financial times may be tough, the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh budget priority must be retaining quality employees to perform daily operations, develop programming, and maintaining facilities along with other essential duties. It is unacceptable that as of 12/14/2007 there is no public knowledge of the 2008 Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh budget including a living wage pay raise, cost of living increase or general pay raise for employees.

Museum Employees have not had a reasonable pay/cost of living increase since the 2002 budget year.

It is unfair that front line employees have been working for the same wages with minimal salary increases if any while Museum executives continue to receive a living wage.

Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh needs to recognize the daily accomplishments of its staff to effectively run its components. Without these employees the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh would not be operational.
